Setrab ProLine Specialty oil coolers alter the flow path of the ProLine STD oil cooler to optimize heat-rejection in specialized oiling systems.
High-gpm flow-rate environments of select dry-sump racing applications may require the additional flow and performance associated with Setrab ProLine Specialty coolers.
The 172M22I-D is a diagonal-flow cooler that offers increased flow-through (reduced restriction) over the standard single-pass 172M22I. Reducing the time the oil spends in the cooler also marginally reduces the heat rejection opportunity, so it is a choice of performance vs. flow that leans more toward flow.
